Does the whitening jab really works?


For those not familiar with this Whitening jab , to put it simply:
-the whitening jab is actually concentrated Vitamin C , that goes straight to your system without bypassing the digestive system like the normal vit c supplements we take. Thus making it more effective.
-Besides whitening, it's good for dry skin, eczema & stubborn spots on the face.

I waited for one week before I go my 5th jab because I had a slightly longer flight.
The first 4 jabs I did them within 3-4 days. Yes the trick of doing it within a closer time frame, is good. However most people do it a week apart initially.

Anyway I'm now distinctively fairer. So YES it works!!!! yay!!!
Friends have commented on it.
Some that I've not seen for a while ask how did I get so fair ?
Hahha...... really NICE !!!!!
I'm so glad I did it. Wish I had done it sooner.

Brought another friend Katie to see Dr Keith Ong yesterday.
She bought the package like me.
It seems to work faster on her compared to me, Lucky Girl.
She's loving it too !!!

    Hi Rose,

    I have afew questions:

    1. how many jabs do you have to take?

    2. Do you have to take it continuously? If yes, how often do you take it?

    3. What is the coat? Do you pay 1 shot for all the jabs?

      1. It depends on your skin tone, & also how you react to it. Alot of my friends are doing it & all of them react differently. If you are one of the lucky ones, you see results fast. Others slower.
      2. It's advisable to maintain like once a month after. I do that :)
      3. It's $900- for 1 package ($150 per jab). If you get the package, you need to pay at once.

      Hi Rose,

      Thanks for your prompt response. I heard it's not FDA approved so can I still call in the clinic to enquire about more? Anyway, are there any side effects? I am very keen to take it.

      Hi sorry for late reply.
      No side effects for me & people I know who has done it:)

      Besides the jab is VitC & Vit C as everyone knows is actually very essential for our health & immune system.... so it's ok. Hmmm....Dont know abt this FDA thing though.

      Irony is, States is the place where they promote taking Vit C most anyway...lol.... I think it's one of the most commonly used supplement, there.

      And....Yes best to call the clinic to double check. Ask Dr keith, he is very friendly:)

      It'll help.
      But I feel the most impt is still the lifestyle.
      You need to stay out of the sun & use sun block.

      Thanks Rose, It's true, maybe should stop some of the outdoor activities! I'm too active! My boyfriend only stays at home & play games. Me I love swimming. What to do???

    Hi Rose initially I did this jab for my skin problems: pimples, sensitive ... after 5 jabs my skin is getting much better. Tm will be my last jab of the package. Dr Keith had ask me to monitor ... & come back when I needed it :)

      Hi Jewel, you mean after this jab, your pimples gets better?
      Why I ask is because I have problem skin too.
      But mine is cause by too much & too frequent chemical peel & laser..... have to blame myself for that, I too kiasu, thought the more the better:(
      Now my skin looks like hell- feels raw & red & pimples!!!! You think this jab can save my skin?
      All my colleagues thought what happened to me!!!!
      My boss also not happy, I look so awful, might scar clients off!!!!

      Koya, my case was quite similar. Mine is cause by chemical peel, I think it was too strong or maybe my skin too sensitive. Anyway after that, all hell broke lose.
      My friend recommended me this VitC jab as last resort!
      Bless her, it really works.... I'm fine now.
      I think it'll work for you too.

    Hi there,

    Stumbled upon your blog when I try to search about whitening jab in SG :) I was wondering if this whitening jab works for scars too? I have this small2 pores scars on my legs.. due to shaving I think :( Do you think this jab will help?

    Also, how's the service at the clinic? I've been to Dr. Chan at Wheelock, not so friendly.. He didn't even talk much to patient..

      Hi Sue, you don't have to worry ,Dr Keith is very friendly:)

      As for the whitening jab, it works for the whole body, so it'll work for most light scars. But it's best you check with dr.

    I stay in malaysia and I took the whitening jab but the whitening effect was so slow and im not happy with it. Btw may I know which brand of vit c that the doctor used? Im so crazy to be fair !

      Yes you really need the right thing from doctors- so many fake products out there. We talking about stuff being injected into our bodies. Better be safe than sorry. My 2 cts
