Tangerine @ Sentosa

The other day one of my colleague's birthday & we had lunch at Tangerine @ Sentosa. My first time there, & I'm really pleasantly surprise by everything. Just look at this view from our table. It's better if you are there. It's so beautiful, the green is astonishing distracting ....haha... I'm serious!

Then we have their set lunch, you can choose from either 3 or 4 course. Some of us have 3 & others have 4.
I had the above for my main course. It's so delicious. Really recommend this place.

Whitening Injection @ Parsons Medical with Dr Keith Ong

White roses, nice ??
I've decided to try Dr Keith Ong's whitening jab.  Don't mistake it for the Vitamin C jabs I did before, this is different. This is for the face alone. I notice my face has gotten a bit dull- not sure why. Maybe it's the exposure to the sun or I'm not getting enough nutrients, anyway, I just want to be fairer! Not asking for too much right?

Anyways some of my colleagues who had done it, swear by it, so I've decide to try too. Unlike the former Vit C jabs, this whitening jabs that  Dr Keith is doing, even eliminate tiny lines & wrinkles. Now that's interesting right? Whitening & tightening effect, can't wait.....

Went with another friend, two weeks ago. We, girls just LOVE to be fair:)) Long story short: the nurses prepare us for the procedure. Numbing cream was generously applied to the face. That's to make the whole thing more pleasant. Many tiny jabs were done all over the face. Because of the numbing cream, you don't really feel so much, so that's great. Dr Keith is really fast (thank God) , And within a short period of time (10-15 mins) it's over. I look OK after that, but decided to go home straight to rest the face.

It's been 2 weeks now. I noticed the fine lines are greatly reduced.
I look fairer & obviously younger.
Really recommend this. This 2 in 1 thing- whitening & tightening, is effective & makes sense:)

Alternative Modeling ?

Remember my girl friend/colleague, the one who brought us to see her boy friend aka K-Pop, the one with the tongue piercing? As it turns out, he indeed has a job. She said he's into "alternative modeling". Never heard of that? Well, then you haven't been shopping online long enough. He's featured on a 'special 'site where all other models were tattooed, pierced, dyed & generally eccentric looking.
No this is not him, just want to show you what's alternative model, incase you don't know 😅
The rest of the time, he's working as a top chef in one of the top restaurants at one of our best hotels! I still can't wrap my mind around that piece of information. What I meant is, doesn't that tongue piercing (he has a very obvious one, when ever he talks, you see it !) kinda mess up the taste buds?

My friend said no! He has perfect senses. Hmmm.... to quench my eternal curiosity, she has arranged for us to his place & he's going to cook for us, tonight ! wow... now that I can't wait !

Running shoe Lacing Techniques

Are you like me? I 'm always having trouble when buying shoes. They never seem to fit when I bring them home. They ended up either being too tight or too loose. These days I'm buying more sneakers as they provide more room for error. Plus some of their designs are very cute.

It's not foolproof, sneakers do have the same issues, though of a lesser degree. So can you imagine my excitement when I saw this online. Well I'm sharing this with you just in case you have the same problems :)) Hope this could be helpful for some of you.

What are the kind of girls the airlines are looking for?

People often ask me what are the kind of girls the airlines are looking for? That's besides the obvious height, looks, basic education, etc... Truth is I seriously don't know.

Take a look at myself, I'm one of those people for whom prolonged inactivity is the worst thing that can possibly happen, with the possible exception of the earth colliding with a very large asteroid. I always know my limitations. I could stick 10 mins of doing nothing, if I absolutely had to. After about 11 mins, I start touching my chin or rubbing the palm of my hand with my thumb. 13 mins and the most luxuriously comfortable chair or first class seat ever made will feel like a medieval torture chamber. 14 mins, & I'd be squirming in the chair, getting up, walking up & down looking for things to fix or clean. 15 mins; unless there is something productive I could do , like count the number of bricks on the wall or seats in the plane, I'll be ready to kill someone!

Many of my colleagues love working with me, as I'm on the go all the time. I just need to be doing something. Maybe the airline hiring team saw that in me long ago ...lol... To be sure, if you want to be in the airline, you shouldn't be the slacker kind as there's much to be done on board:)

In love with Copenhagen

I've decided to bring my parents to Europe this year. They were kinda worry due to the recent bombings that's going on around that region. But ... Europe is just too darn charming. To set their mind at peace, I've chosen Copenhagen. My parents were relief & pleased, (1) they have not been there & (2) Scandinavian anything just somehow sound cleaner & safer:)

When we got there, my parents loved the place. Everyone we met smiled, were just so helpful & pleasant. The architecture is spectacular, love the Scandinavian simplistic style. My mum loved the food.  Most restaurants we visited use locally, seasonal ingredients that are fresh and delicious. We ate at different restaurants for every meal, recommended by friendly strangers. All were excellent.

Outside Copenhagen was much the same. The towns are pretty, and clean, the people who live there are as agreeable and amiable to those we’d met in the capital. We traveled by trains, which ran on time to within a minute, were regular, and spotlessly clean. Excellent transport system.
Leaving aside the good looks of the city, its charming population, and the exceptionally good cuisine, I came away with a feeling that here was a place, and probably a country, where the well being of its citizens and the efficiency of the public services are the main priority. If I’m correct, and that’s the prime concern of the government, then it’s worked, and has rubbed off on everything else, making the city a pleasing place to visit, or live.
My mum is totally in love with the place now. She'll be back, she warned ... lol..
Charming right????
